AIMS (DEFINITIVE)
- To provide students with knowledge of the fundamental principles and techniques employed in Green Building projects.
- To allow students to assess the building energy performance and the steps that can be taken to improve daylighting, fresh air ventilation, lighting design and introduce renewable energy.
- To create an awareness for students of standards like ASHRAE, ECBC and rating systems like IGBC, LEED and GRIHA
- To improve employability by improving basic skill sets through critical analysis of live green building projects.
METHODOLOGY
The learning outcomes will be achieved by a combination of lectures, workshops, site visits and group discussions.
